The way on PVP realms in WOW

I also remember druids flying into contested zones, shifting out of bird form, into bear form (you couldn't shift directly between forms until a later patch) while they fell from a thousand yards up, and then feral charging their targets to take no fall damage. That was more fun than making WOW gold. I just hate that it totally disconnects you from the world. Flying from point A to point B ruins so much of the soul of these style of games. Why not just add fast travel and be done with it.

"It encourages greater player interaction, both PvE and PvP." Bull. In PVE, whether I ride up, walk up, fly up is irrelevant to whether or not I interact with other players. If the situation calls for it, I do; if it doesn't, I typically don't. As for PVP, I don't care much, as I don't participate in that aspect out of choice. But by "interact" in PVP, you (and apparently GC, who apparently equates "safe" with "boring") really mean "able to be ganked". In this case, I'm going to repeat comments I read blow: if you want to make world PVP happen to the point where you'll restrict flight in an area, then make it that way on PVP realms and leave my PVE realms out of it. And if you like that kind of play and want to get more Safe WOW gold, roll on a PVP server.

Flying around Cataclysm zones while leveling my main from 80-85, hopping from one place to the next without any real danger at all, felt like cheating and wasn't nearly as immersive as the experience of leveling through Outland and Northrend for the first time. I'm glad they made level 90 a requirement for flying in Pandaria for that reason, and I am very glad to have it for main-continent dailies (as opposed to small, instanced zones where I can get from A to B on a ground mount quickly enough) and buy WOW gold cheap and safe; but at the same time I'm just as glad that I can buy flying a bit earlier for alts that I'm now leveling through Outland, Northrend, and Cataclysm.

Vanilla/BC WoW wasn't all sunshine and roses, folks. Instead of hit rating, we had to grind weapon skills by using a kind of weapon which could not be bought by WOW gold with fast delivery, and defense skill by getting hit (even clothies). Rogues had to grind lockpicking skill and brew their own poisons to level their poisons skill. I could go on, but I'm getting flashbacks to hunting in sunken ships for lockboxes…Sure, so badly do they regret it that they added old-world flying in Cataclysm? I suspect there's a lot more internal debate behind this story than Street's opinion reveals.
